We are pleased to offer for sale this San Diego California Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Silver Half Dollar (1935-1936) in XF-40 or Better Condition . This San Diego Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Silver Half Dollar was struck as a souvenir coin for the exposition. There were only 100,224 of the California Pacific International Exposition Commemorative Silver Half Dollars minted at the San Francisco and Denver Mints in 1935 and 1936, making it of great worth and value to the commemorative coin collector. This California Pacific International Exposition Souvenir Coin was designed by Robert Aiken. The Commemorative Silver Half Dollar features a seated female with a spear and a bear on the obverse. On the reverse the observation tower and State of California building at the exposition in San Diego are featured. The San Diego Commemorative Coin is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
