We are pleased to offer for sale this Washington-Carver Silver Commemorative Half Dollar in XF-40 or Better Condition . There were only 1,106,292 of this Washington-Carver Silver Half Dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1952. This Washington-Carver Half Dollar was designed by Isaac Scott Hathaway and was struck in commemoration of the two prominent black Americans. The obverse of the Washington-Carver Commemorative Half Dollar features conjoined busts of Booker T. Washington and George Washington Carver. The reverse of the Washington-Carver Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a map of the United States.
