Originally released on February 15, 1950, Cinderella has become one of the most famous and recognizable princesses of all time. Equipped with her gown and glass slippers, Cinderella and Prince Charming meet and eventually end up living happily ever after. In 1991, Disney released the romantic musical Beauty and the Beast . The movie earned seven awards after its release including Best Picture and an Oscar for Best Music, Original Song. The fifteenth animated film produced by Walt Disney was Lady and the Tramp . Released into theaters in 1955, this film was one of the first Disney productions that was not based on an old fairy tale.
