Condition: Unused. Stamp booklet is a stock photo. Booklet Size: 20 stamps History: Recognizing an opportunity to spread love for Valentine’s Day, the United States Post Office created a commemorative stamp series dedicated to love. This stamp was issued just in time for Valentine's Day 1996. The image of the angel was based on Raphael's "Sistine Madonna". There was some controversy caused by the imagery when it came to light that child angels were associated with death, not love. This stamp image had been used in 1995 for the Love Series as well.
